Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 17, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of TapMe.ph— the TapMe.ph website, TapMe.ph RFID/NFC cards, and the pages and dashboards they connect to (the “Service”) — operated by Montemayor IT Solutions (“we” or “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Service
Each TapMe.ph card carries a unique link. Tapping the card with a compatible phone, or opening its link, shows the business or profile page the card's owner has set up. Card owners manage their pages, designs and analytics from their dashboard.
Accounts
- You sign in with Google or with an email and password, and are responsible for keeping your login secure.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including all content on your card pages.
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
Claiming and owning cards
- A new card is added to the first account that signs in after tapping it. Keep new cards safe until you've claimed them.
- If a card was claimed by the wrong account, or you give a card to someone else, contact us and we can reset it so it can be claimed again. Resetting deletes that card's page content and analytics.
- The physical card is yours once purchased. The link it carries, and the page at that link, are provided as part of the Service.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you publish. You grant us a limited licence to host, display and transmit it — including to visitors who save or share your page — only as needed to run the Service.
Your card page is public. You confirm that you have the right to publish all of its content, including photos, logos, trademarks and other people's details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use a card or page to:
- Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Publish unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit or harassing content.
- Link to phishing, malware, scams or other harmful sites.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Interfere with the Service, inflate analytics artificially, or access it by automated means without permission.
Suspension and disabling
We may disable a card, or deactivate an account, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, to protect visitors or the Service, or where required by law. A disabled card, or any card of a deactivated account, shows an “unavailable” message instead of its page. Where appropriate we'll tell you why and how to resolve it.
Analytics
Tap, view, contact-save and share counts are provided for information. Counts are de-duplicated and may not capture every interaction (for example, when a visitor's browser blocks scripts), so they shouldn't be relied on as exact figures.
Orders, payment and replacements
Card prices, delivery times and payment terms are agreed when you order. If a card arrives faulty, contact us within 30 days for a replacement. Cards damaged through misuse, heat, bending or water aren't covered. NFC reading depends on the visitor's phone, and some phones may need NFC switched on or may not support it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features over time. We'll give reasonable notice before discontinuing the Service so you can save your information.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll notify customers. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
